Turn the thermostat off first. Do not open equipment panels or use a ladder.

  1. Set the thermostat to OFF.
  2. Locate the resident-accessible return grille or filter slot described in your lease materials.
  3. Note the size and airflow arrow on the current filter before removing it.
  4. Slide in a matching filter with the arrow pointing in the same airflow direction.
  5. Secure the grille and return the thermostat to its previous setting.
