Recessed LED light is out

Check the switch and report a recessed light that would require reaching overhead or removing a fixture.

About 2 minutesMaintenance guidance

Safety first

Do not use a ladder, pull down the fixture, or touch wiring. Submit a maintenance request.

What to do now

  1. Turn the wall switch off.
  2. Confirm whether other lights on the same switch or in the same room still work.
  3. Note whether the light flickered, buzzed, or changed color before going out.
  4. Submit a maintenance request with the room and fixture location.

Stop and request maintenance if

  • There is smoke, a burning smell, heat, buzzing, or visible discoloration.
  • Water is near the fixture.
  • More than one room has lost power.
